Professors at College of Engineering, PCCOE, Pune participated in an enriching Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM) training, a unique practice that involves dedicating 20 minutes daily to IAM meditation, fostering inner peace and holistic well-being.
Amma beautifully encapsulates the essence of IAM, saying, “IAM Meditation is a way to find our inner balance and to access the inexhaustible source of peace and joy that lies within.”
The benefits of IAM for professors are vast and impactful. Dr Harish Tiwari, Principal, PCCOE College of Engineering and Research remarked, “By incorporating IAM into their daily routine, professors can experience reduced stress levels, improved focus and concentration, enhanced emotional intelligence, and a deep sense of inner calm. These benefits extend beyond personal growth to positively influence the college environment, fostering a culture of mindfulness, harmony, and productivity”
“The daily practice will help us manage stress better, stay focused during lectures, and connect with our students on a deeper level. We believe IAM can bring positive change to our college environment by promoting well-being and positivity among faculty and students alike.”, said the professors.
