AYUDHians and Alumni members of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham came together with professionals from different domains and organizations across India for the ‘StressManagement through IAM’ Virtual workshop organized by the Office of Youth Empowerment OYE , Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus AYUDH member Neeraj Lal, a fitness enthusiast who is pursuing his C.A (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Students ) made special efforts in inviting his friends to the workshop. The IAM workshop was as an extension of their education at Amrita, for Amrita alumni, since Amrita focuses on educationforlife, the vision of our respected Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amma. Dr Rahul Krishnan, an alumni, who is now a researcher at the Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications who along with other researchers recently received a US patent United States Patent and Trademark Office for an innovative system for remote patient monitoring mentioned that the workshop gave him a great opportunity to experience IAM in an organized manner and that the individual attention given by the instructor, Vagishamrita Chaitanya during the session helped him to experience meditation as in a real session. Ms. Sasikala from Aspire System (India) Private Limited said that the session was very helpful for her to reduce stress level and made her whole day a relaxed one. Other alumni members including Venkitesh P.G. from Cisco and Sreejith A from City Union Bank Ltd said that they deeply benefited from the workshop and recommended it to their colleagues. The participants that included entrepreneurs and spiritual seekers from various parts of India shared that they realized the scope of meditation in improving their efficiency to meet professional as well as personal goals.
