In connection with World Mental Health Day 2020, a virtual training on Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique was organized for a group of Professors and Management students of Institute of management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) campus. The training programs have been organized by the Office of Youth Empowerment of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus in association with Panacea, The Mental Health Club of IIMA Campus. The participants took part in the IAM training program in order to alleviate their mental stress, feel relaxed and energized to live life to the full. After the training, they spoke with excitement that IAM Meditation practice will definitely help them manage their hectic academic schedule as well as the busy and stressful life of managers that they are going to face in the outside world soon. All participants thanked the organizers and said that the session was great, they are sure that investing 20 minutes a day for IAM practice can ensure great success in future. “We will be able to handle the stressful things more calmly as they occur. It will help to provide a great start to the day with a calm mind and a sense of peace and harmony”, the professors added.
